This is a 7.5cm by 7.5 cm cylinder. It is pretty small. There are small divets as you go up the outside of the project. The outside is glazed in cobalt blue and the inside is glazed in clear. The blue covers a very small bit below the lip on the inside of the project. The two glazes are very different, creating a juxtaposition between the inside and the outside of the project.

The throwing marks with the transparencency of the dark colbalt glaze make this a very rich cylinder. The marks tell us how the project was formed and keep it 'alive' in time - as though it is always just made.
